05 - Employment via Smart

The user must be employed (and registered with the ÖGK) before the start of the activity. As there is a processing time, the request for employment and the associated order should be sent to our team of consultants at least three working days before the start of the activity. Accidents at work and sick leave must be reported to us immediately.  

In the Smart Portal, users have the choice of being employed or self-employed when confirming their order, provided the service period is in the future. We need a processing time for the new registration of users and the corresponding notification to the ÖGK. We therefore ask you to inform us of the choice of users and to enter the orders as soon as the order and the person performing the service are known, but in any case 3 working days before the start of the service. 

The employment for the user is calculated on the basis of the announced budget. It is advisable for users to seek advice from us and to make a preliminary calculation. 

Users can only be employed if they are EU citizens or in possession of a residence permit that allows unrestricted access to the labor market. A check will be carried out by the Smart Team.
